Endowment Fund of Augusta Trails
The Endowment Fund of Augusta Trails provides for the long term support of our area’s recreational trails – funds for trail building, maintenance, support, and related educational activity.
Donors’ gifts to the Endowment Fund – tax deductible like other donations to Augusta Trails – are maintained in a separate account. The principal amount of the donor’s gift is never touched. Only a portion of the annual income from the account is use for trail-building, trail maintenance, and the other trail-related purposes of Augusta Trails. Your gift to the Endowment Fund is truly a “permanent legacy” for our community’s recreational trails.
Gifts to the Endowment Fund may be by cash/check or by “planned giving.” Planned giving includes a bequest to the Endowment Fund in your will, creating a charitable remainder trust that makes the Endowment Fund a beneficiary, etc. If you would like the name of a local financial planner who can assist you with the various types of planned giving gifts, just let us know.
